Vinyl Monogram applied to Mirror -cheap mirror from big lots! (Could paint this) # Pinterest for iPad. Here’s a great idea that I saw on Pinterest and thought it would be a great gift idea for a friend, sister, or mother. It’s a vinyl monogram applied to a mirror.
The intricate details on the border of this mirror, which was purchased at Big Lots, have been accentuated by painting the entire frame turquoise. Accenting that with a pink flower was brilliant.
The mirror itself is still intact and you do not have to spend hours trying to precisely paint these monogrammed letters on its face. These letters, done in a calligraphy style, are actually vinyl. You can find lettering like this at any craft store. They are easy to apply and look great! I suppose you could use a stencil and paint if you cannot find vinyl lettering, but you will end up spending more time than originally planned on this project.
Wouldn’t a woman in your life enjoy this personalized craft as a gift? I think my sister would flip if I made her one of these. Just make sure you have the right initials and that you place the letter for the last name in the middle, not the end.
