Fill container with vinegar, sugar and salt to trap wasps… I’ll be placing these around the yard this year!
Last year we had a nasty wasp and bee problem. We had to have the exterminator come out twice to fill the hole that the bees and wasps were using to get in and out of our garage wall. Since the weather was so nice last year, we wanted to spend a lot of time out there, but these pesky little bugs had another idea for us.
I don’t like using chemicals especially around my home where my kids could get into it or breathe it in. I was reluctant both times that I called the exterminator because I knew the chemicals he was going to use were toxic. Then I stumbled across this trick and it made me smile.
If we end up having the same issue again this summer, I can use this container filled with vinegar, sugar and salt to trap these stinging creatures.
I really hope it works, although I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Both creatures seem to love my soda pop, so I think the sugar in this concoction should attract them.
Bye-bye bugs and hello backyard!
