ADORE this dresser! Here’s a dresser rehab that you are going to adore.
This old dresser has received a face lift and I love it! It’s so simple and anyone can recreate this with their dresser too.
First of all, it looks like the entire thing was painted in an off-white. This is the perfect background for the seafoam green chevron design that was hand painted on the front.
Change out the knobs to further enhance the rehab.
I like that dresser has character and what I mean by that is the paint has been roughed up a little to make the dresser look like it has aged. This is a wonderful trick to do with anything you are rehabbing. If you want to make it looked used, then take some sandpaper and rub off the paint in small areas. Then take a fine grit sandpaper and smooth it over the entire surface of the furniture. Pay special attention to edges because that’s where furniture naturally wears.
After you have painted and sanded, it time to place it in the bedroom. Find a medium size lamp and a couple other items to display on the top of the dresser and then step back and enjoy your work.
